Playr exists to make it easy to find people to play sport with - whether that's one other person for a Tuesday-evening kickabout, or a whole team.
Why we built Playr
Moving to a new area, losing a regular playing partner, or just wanting to play more often - the sport isn't usually the hard part. Finding people at your level, nearby, who actually want to play, is. Playr is built to solve that specific problem: matching by sport, skill level, and distance, whether you're looking for one person or a whole team.
What we believe
- Real people, not just profiles. Verification exists so the person you're arranging to meet is who they say they are.
- Distance, not location. You shouldn't have to give up your exact address just to find a game nearby.
- Safety is a feature, not an afterthought. See our approach to safety for the detail.
- Sport is better with other people. One-to-one games and team events both matter - Playr is built for both.
